Yeast Topoisomerase II
Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisae) DNA Topoisomerase II (Topo II) is a type II topoisomerase which can relax and decatenate DNA. It is prepared by overexpressing in Saccharomyces cerevisae and purifying it by methods developed in-house. The enzyme is supplied in Dilution Buffer.
1 U of topo II will relax 0.5 µg supercoiled pBR322 DNA in 1X Assay buffer in a total reaction volume of 30 µl in 30 minutes at 37°C.
This enzyme is supplied with 5X concentrated Assay Buffer and Dilution buffer which are also available separately.
The relaxation kits contain the enzyme, the supercoiled DNA substrate, the Assay and Dilution buffers as well as 10X GSTEB - our new stop and loading buffer.
Store at -80°C.
