Recipes for various buffers
1) Reaction Stop Buffer (STEB)
This is for a 2 X concentration buffer. The solution will need to be warmed to dissove the sucrose but can then be stored at room temperature.
40 % (w/v) sucrose, 100 mM Tris-HCl, pH8, 1 mM EDTA, 0.5 mg/ml Bromophenol Blue.
